Hypothetical question about the next book:

If time travel has ended, and we're losing some of the technology we've seen (knowing that it will be developed "in the future"), does that mean that the next book will happen in "real time?" If so, I'm excited to see what is considered modern day, and how it still differs - or "reverts" to being the same as the world we live in.

I don't want an answer to this question (SPOILERS!), but I am excited about it for the next book.

(In addition, I couldn't be more excited about possibly reading more about this SERIAL killer. So good.)
